Calgary to host 2017 Racquetball Canada Selection Event

For the first time in over a decade, Calgary has secured the bid for a Racquetball Canada National Team Selection Event. Organizing committee Chair and long-time Canadian National Team member Tim Landeryou is enthusiastic about the planning: "After having been involved in high performance racquetball for over 15 years, I am thrilled to finally have the opportunity to run an event like the ones I’ve been attending all of this time. I am confident in the skills of the team we’ve assembled and, when combined with the generous support of our sponsors, will ensure a first-class event.” The committee is still in the early stages of planning but have already secured the title sponsor, Bruce Robinson Project Management Ltd., with Tourism Calgary, Telus, and Landeryou Consulting also coming on board to support the event.

The committee is looking for volunteers to participate in both the planning and running of the event. Those interested can contact Tim Landeryou at tim.landeryou@gmail.com. The Bruce Robinson Project Management Ltd. Calgary Open and Racquetball Canada Selection Event will take place at the University of Calgary from February 2-5, 2017.
